Here are a couple of valve amps that I would recommend, for more information visit my guide on valve amps.

Fender Pro Junior - Under £500

The Pro Junior, in my opinion, is the best small valve combo amp. It has 15 Watts of power so you can produce Fender famous sparkly cleans at a bedroom volume but you can also run the volume higher to start getting some great crunchy tones. It features a 10” speaker, which some people believe can start to sound small at louder volumes, that isn’t what this amp is built for and for home use it can provide the perfect sound.

Burgera V22 Infinium - Under £300

This Bugera is a great value Fender inspired amp but on a budget, it is a little bit louder than the Pro Junior, but it has a half power switch so you can start to get great break-up tones at a quieter volume. It houses a 12” speaker so could be future proofing your playing and it is probably more suited to gigs than the Pro Junior.
